I'm the coordinator of the public history program at St. John's University, and as part of the public history program, teach a course in oral history. I have found the TheirStory to be a product that has been wonderfully helpful in assisting my students and giving my students the confidence they need to make oral history interviews, to be able to transcribe those interviews in a timely fashion with with great accuracy with a wide divergence of people. And so those days that I knew early in my career of constantly checking in with team participants about where the interviewing process stood, where the transcription process stood, if the transcriptions had yet been reviewed by the narrators, whether or not the deed of gift form was on file, there's no longer any question about when and whether or not those activities have taken place because TheirStory keeps track of those things for you and makes it very convenient and you have those the time stamping right on there so you know exactly when copies, when reviews, when things were shared and who was able to participate in the sharing and the review of the different files
